What is “Concierge”?

“Concierge” means that we put your needs above all else. No more long waits- we will get you an appointment within days. No more difficult doctors – we provide longer appointments, listen deeply, and create a care plan personalized for you. No more confusing instructions- your Care Navigator will make sure you have everything you need. At Ascent Psychiatry,, we put your needs above all else.

How do virtual appointments work?

All of our appointments take place over secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You can meet with your psychiatrist from the comfort of your home, your office, or wherever you feel most at ease. All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection.

Can you prescribe medication?

Yes! As experts in our field, we are able to prescribe and manage medication when appropriate. Medication is just one tool we may use as part of your overall treatment plan – we’ll always discuss the options with you so you can make an informed decision.

Who do you treat?

We have specialists available to treat children, adults, seniors, and everything in between. Minimum age is ***. We can help with any psychologic or psychiatric concern, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, PTSD, life transitions, and more. If you’re not sure whether we’re the right fit, just reach out — we’re happy to talk it through.

Currently, Ascent Psychiatry can only see patients located in Pennsylvania. We are expanding quickly, so if you live outside PA, check back again soon!

Do you accept insurance?

Ascent Psychiatry is a private-pay practice, which allows us to spend more time with each patient and provide a higher level of personalized care. We do not accept insurance, but we can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Your first appointment can be within a week, sometimes within days. Reach out to your Care Navigator to get started.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit will be longer, comprehensive evaluation where we take the time to understand you, your history, your concerns, and your goals. There’s no rush. We’ll work together to build a treatment plan that feels right for you.
